About

I wear many hats. I am a front end web developer. I fly people in airplanes up and down the West Coast of the United States and Canada. Most importantly, I work hard at being a loving husband and father.

I live in Spokane Washington with my wife, our son, and our dachshund who thinks she is our human daughter. In my day job I work as an airline pilot flying Dash 8 Q400s. I find time to create web sites while on trips at the day job and while my son sleeps.

Behind the Nut .  .  .

I met Jessi in 2001 while in Arizona. We fell head over heals and followed each other around until we married June 2003. Since then she has graduated from school with a Pyschology degree. She worked in real estate for a bit and is now going back to school to work in a medical field.

Dylan joined us Thanksgiving day 2007. He is now a very special ball of energy. I often joke he has two speeds; sprint and sleep. But he is growing into an incredible person. I look forward each day to accompanying him through his life.

That Pilot Thing .  .  .

I started down the pilot career Fall 1998. I graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University late 2001. I started working as a pilot Spring 2002 at a fixed base operator in Pullman, WA doing a wide variety of flying.

I left the Pullman job spring 2005 to fly cargo out of Portland, Oregon; working my way up the career ladder. I left the cargo gig Summer 2006 for my current job flying for a regional airline based in the Pacific Northwest.

And Web Design .  .  .

A year into my airline job I started not trusting my plan A. The pilot career is fickle and I wanted a back up. I had a great idea for a web site and set about teaching myself to create it.

My original idea started to slowly build momentum. But by this time I was also creating sites for others. Between the two I did not have enough time and both paths suffered. I enjoy web design more, so I decided to shut down the original idea and continue creating web sites.
