Why Crunchy? Why Center?

I am a little nutty. Not wearing a pink too too professing on a street corner nutty. But I look at the world a little different. I have two ears and one mouth for a reason. I like to interact with people, but I figure I was built to observe and learn as much as talk. There are so many lessons to learn while fully present in life. I sometimes try to find a what and why as to what I see.

I have learned the absolute best way to get things done is to work well with others. That, and I never see a reason to not be nice to another person and treat them with respect, unless they give me cause. And even with cause, I try to stay polite. I am seen all too often people do a poor job in their occupation. I believe the best way to serve others and to then better my business opportunities is to do a good job for each person.

The center part comes from a life path I started following a couple years ago. And that is the Buddhist idea of the middle path. To avoid extremes. To not berate myself nor to congratulate myself. To not indulge in life, and to not exclude myself from life.  Everything in moderation. I still have to consciously work at the middle path each day.

The center also pertains to my approach to other’s ideas. Specifically, I have realized most people know what is best for their circumstances. Just because I may not agree with a specific idea or mannerism does not make it wrong. I apply this to politics too. Each side of an issue has good ideas. And each side is intelligent and well meaning. Though I may not agree with a specific agenda or approach, I always try to remind myself that viewpoint has the same ultimate goal I do; well being for myself and everyone else.

I apply my crunchy center ways to web design. Each person has intelligent ideas and preferences of what they envision in a site. I build the web site around those ideas and preferences. I realize you have a purpose for your website, and work with you to accomplish that purpose.
